Nothing makes me happier than applying technology to solve problems. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve enjoyed making computers work. My first computer was the original Mac 128. Because I started on Macs, I learned a very important lesson about software design at a very early age.

No matter how sophisticated a piece of software is, if it’s not easy to use, it’s worthless. Sage BusinessWorks (BW) is a wonderful product because its powerful accounting engine is wrapped with tools that make it easy to use. We can take it one step further and make it work the way that you want it to work. We start with you and tell the software what to do.

I’ve been a professional software engineer for twelve years, but I haven’t been living in bits and bytes. Some of my jobs have been with small companies where I’ve been responsible for meeting directly with the customer and crafting solutions. I spent four years working for Sage as a Programmer on the Sage BusinessWorks product and I’ve been doing custom BW solutions for five years.

Now I’m a partner in BASC and the owner and founder of the custom development firm, BSoft Integrators. Over the last five years we’ve come up with a great catalogue of products and a comprehensive library of code for interacting with BW.
